Heligoland

-Heligoland ou Fositesland, n’est autre qu’une île sacré que je me devais de parler ici-même. Tout comme Wolin pour les Slaves, cette îles à une histoire spirituelle particulière.

-L’archipel de Heligoland (composé de deux îles) est situé dans le sud est de la mer du Nord, au large des côtes Allemandes. La population (1149 habitants) est cantonnée sur une des deux îles, l’autre, sablonneuse étant inhabitée.

-Cette terre sacrée abritait jadis un temple dédié au Dieu Forseti (Fosité), d’où son nom.

-Nous retrouvons Forseti dans l’Edda en prose. Ce Dieu est le fils de Balder et Nana. Certains voient en lui et en son aptitude à rendre la justice une hypostase de Tyr, le Dieu de la justice et du bon droit. Il réside en Glitnir. Sa fonction est donc comme nous l’avons vu la justice et de ce fait nombre de Saxon (principalement en Frise) venaient régler efficacement leurs différents sur cette île. Son culte était très important.

-L’animal consacré à Forseti était le taureau.

-Cette endroit reste et restera donc un endroit important dans l’Odinisme. Ceux qui iraient sur cette terre pourront donc renouer avec ce Dieu.

-Heligoland Or Fositesland, is simply a sacred island that I had to speak right here. Like Wolin for the Slavs, this island has a special spiritual history.

-Heligoland (composed of two islands) is located in the south east of the North Sea off the German coast. The population (1149 inhabitants) is stationed on the two islands, the other being uninhabited.

-This Sacred land once housed a temple dedicated to the God Forseti (Fosité), hence its name.
