Kupala 2022

-Pour fêter le Soleil à son zénith cette année, nous nous sommes rendu à une célébration organisée par une association Germanisante (Asatru/Odiniste) avec une 50 aine de personne venue saluer et honorer l’astre de vie et de lumière, connu selon les traditions sous le nom de Dazbog/Sol/Apollon…

-Pour faire patienter avant le rituel, le point culminant de soirée, des jeux d’adresse et de forces ont été organisés suivis d’un festin entre Païens. Une très bonne ambiance donc pour cette journée sacrée.

-Une fois la nuit tombée, nous nous sommes tous réunis afin de rejoindre le bûcher dans une marche aux flambeaux qui était assez impressionnante. Une fois arrivé à l’endroit du rituel, un discours profond et unificateur a débuté pour notre plus grande joie suivie par les offrandes et les chants qui résonnaient dans toute la vallée. Un moment puissant en l’honneur de notre lumière sacré, notre Sol Invictus!

-Bien qu’étant dans une cérémonie de tradition Germano/Scandinave je n’ai pas oublié d’honorer Dazbog ainsi que Jarilo pour son triste départ… Deux moments très importants lors de Kupala qui nous rappelle, qu’à présent, la lumière va déjà décliner peu à peu et que nous devrons attendre une année avant de retrouver avec joie celui qui sème la vie et le renouveau Jarovit.

-Je te salue humblement, respectueusement et honorablement ainsi qu’avec tout mon amour Ô toi, lumière céleste, lumière divine, ainsi que toi Jarilo, puisse-ton voyage être bon et vite nous revenir!

-To celebrate the Sun at its zenith this year, we went to a celebration organized by a Germanizing association (Asatru/Odinist) with around 50 people who came to greet and honor the star of life and light, known according to the traditions under the name of Dazbog/Sol/Apollo…

-To wait before the ritual, the highlight of the evening, games of skill and strength were organized followed by a feast between Pagans. A very good atmosphere for this sacred day.

-Once night fell, we all gathered to join the stake in a torchlight procession which was quite impressive. Once we arrived at the place of the ritual, a deep and unifying discourse began for our greatest joy followed by offerings and songs that echoed throughout the valley. A powerful moment in honor of our sacred light, our Sol invictus!

-Although being in a Germano/Scandinavian tradition ceremony, I did not forget to honor Dazbog as well as Jarilo for his sad departure… Two very important moments during Kupala which remind us that now the light will already decline little by little and that we will have to wait one year before rejoining the one who sows life and renewal Jarovit.
