-En cette fin du mois de juillet 2002, pendant ces lourdes chaleurs, la présence de Perun se fait ressentir à tel point que l’on pourrait le toucher et l’apercevoir. Et c’est justement ce qui va se passer avant le rituel de cette année. Le tonnerre gronde, il se fait entendre par ses rugissements de plus en plus puissants, il se fait voir par ses éclairs d’une force et d’une lumière ahurissante et indomptable.

-Le rituel prendra place cette fois-ci sur l’autel familial. Nous remercions les esprits locaux et nous louons Perun pour sa force et sa protection contre toute chose impure.

-D’autres libations ont lieu toujours en son nom mais pas que…

-Cependant ce moment sacré et magique fut de courte durée, puisque peu de temps après on apprenait que le sanctuaire de Perun sur la montagne Sleza en Silesie (Pologne) a été violé et la statue dérobée…

-Les maitres des lieux ont déclaré: « Malheureusement, c’est un fait. Une fois de plus, tout le milieu des croyants indigènes reçoit un signal clair qu’il n’y a pas de place pour les Païens sur la montagne. Il nous reste à intensifier nos activités et à répandre encore plus l’ancienne foi, à restaurer les lieux de culte, à ériger des statues, à planter des bosquets. (Ce n’est pas la première fois). Il n’est pas sans importance que cela ait été fait pendant la semaine de Perun, lorsque, entre autres, notre groupe a célébré une fête importante et de nombreux pèlerins sont apparus au sommet, précisément pour honorer le foudroyeur. Aujourd’hui, la statue n’est plus à Sleza, mais Perun était, est, et sera toujours présent et frappera fortement ceux qui détruisent le lieu de son culte. « 

-Nous sommes de tout cœur avec eux et notre foi en Perun et toujours plus grande!
