-Il y a quelque temps nous avons célébré le retour de l’enfant soleil, apportant avec lui la joie et l’espoir d’un renouveau. Aujourd’hui il nous faut célébrer le grand gardien du monde des Ancêtres, le Dieu ours, le patron des animaux et des musiciens. Celui qui accorde la réussite mais également à qui nous confions nos serments… cette divinité aux multiples avatars nous accompagne tout au long des cycles de l’année, mais en cette période qui est sienne, nous devons encore plus la respecter et l’honorer!

-Weles recevra de nombreuses offrandes en ce jour, miel, lait, pain, encens, feu, céréales, qui seront déposées sur son autel. Perun à ce moment précis menace par sa foudre la Déesse de l’hiver Marzanna en lui rappelant que le retour du printemps arrive à grands pas ainsi que la fin du règne de cette dernière. On offre des offrandes à Perun également pour qu’il ne laisse pas éclater sa rage, ce qui serait mauvais signe pour le temps futur et les récoltes. Des louanges et des offrandes seront offertes à Dodola pour son soutient et pour apaiser la fureur de son mari Perun!

-Une bougie « du tonnerre » faite en cire d’abeille sera utilisé pour bénir la maison, puis placé à la fenêtre de cette dernière pour notre protection. Une autre bougie consacrée, à ce moment, servira tout au long de l’année à venir pour aider à prévenir tout mal et maladie.

-En observant la météo le jour de Gromnitsa on connaîtra le temps qui fera prochainement jusqu’à l’arrivée du printemps.

Perun at this precise moment threatens the Winter Goddess Marzanna with his lightning, reminding her that the return of spring is fast approaching as well as the end of the latter’s reign. Offerings are also offered to Perun so that he does not let his rage burst out, which would be a bad sign for the future weather and the crops. Praises and offerings will be offered to Dodola for her support and to appease the fury of her husband Perun!

-A « thunder » beeswax candle will be used to bless the house, then placed at the window of the latter for our protection. Another candle consecrated at this time will serve throughout the coming year to help prevent all evil and disease.
