-Jare Gody has finally arrived, representing the spring equinox, the return of light and the bright season. We can only rejoice in feeling the presence of our Gods beside us and await the imminent return of Jarilo! Jarilo/Jarovit, this great god of life, will soon traverse the world, and wherever he walks, nature will come back to life: the trees will regain their leaves, the flowers will bloom, the animals will emerge from hibernation, and the frozen water will regain its freedom.
-It is a time of joy, fertility, and abundance, with light blossoming all around us. What we have waited for for so many long months is finally here. Let us rejoice!
-During the ritual, Marzanna received the offerings and was thanked for watching over us, as was the great Weles, master of the gates of the otherworld. Then Marzanna was drowned. In other Slavic traditions, Marzanna may be beaten, slashed with a knife, burned, burned and then drowned, or buried.
-The rest of the ritual took place at the sacred site, at the foot of the oak tree, and the new altar dedicated to Swarozic powerfully burned the various offerings. May they, and our words, reach the Gods!
