Slavic Origins

–Origin of Slavs:

-Although there is still a lot to learn and discover about the dark past of the origins of the Slavs, the tracks become more and more clear, and a little more numerous, thanks to the archeology but also to the ancient texts. We can trace the origins, the genesis of the Slavs.

-The actual creation of this people is quite « recent » compared to the Celts, Germans, Greeks … as Slavic people properly speaking. But however, the Slavs have absolutely nothing to envy to other cultures and have shown great artistic, spiritual, nautical, culinary, war… skills
-Therefore are the different cultures, from the oldest accepted to be Proto-Slavic to the creation of the people as distinct identity:
* -1650 to -1200 Komouiv culture (associated with Trzyciniec)
* -1100 to -800 culture Bilohroudivs’kyi (wooded steppe of the right bank of the Dnieper)
* -800 to -600 Chorny lily followed in-600 to 99 AD by the culture of Milograd (associated with the culture of Kiev).
* -700 to 200 AD Scythoid culture of the Ukrainian wooded steppe (Scythian plowman).
* -600 to 100 Pomeranian culture.
* -200 to 99 of our Zarubintsy era culture.
* 200 to 400 CE Chernyakov culture.
* 200 to 450 of our era culture of Kiev.
* 400 to 500/600 of our era here is the first real mention of Slavs as the Sclavenes followed by the Antes from 400 of our era to 500/600.
* 50 to 500/550 period when the name of a people who will be remembered the most because the ancient Germans called them and continue to call the Slavs, these are the Wendes.
-Other cultures can be closer to the Proto-Slavs or at least they have an influence:

* 99 to 400 of our era some Slavs will also be integrated into the Alain people.
* 100 to 99 AD the Oksywie culture.
* 400 of our era at 600 Prague culture.

-Several cultures are followed, mixed up to arrive at the creation of the largest ethnic group in the world, the Slavs!

–The Scythian plowman who were part of the Scythians, remain the most sure source of a proto-Slavic people for many historians.

-If you want to go even further (if it is possible) we can also note the cultures of Globular Amphora (-3400 to -2800). But nothing clear and sure for the moment.
there is also the culture of Lusatia or Lusatian culture that is debating. Some people think that they are aboriginals who will merge with the Slavs later, others that they are Germans and some Proto-Slavs!
-We must not forget also the culture of Vinca (-5500 to -4000) which has certainly bequeathed influences.
