-Gromada WATRA has realised a ritual for Kupala (Summer Solstce) under the sun and the rain. A situation full of symbolysm.
-Kupala’s night, celebrated around the summer solstice, is one of the oldest and most radiant Slavic rituals. It marks the moment when nature reaches its full strength, and when water and fire become forces of purification and renewal.
-This festival unites love, fertility, joy, and magic.
-At dusk, great bonfires are lit. People dance around the flames and sing, while the bravest among them leap over the fire to purify themselves, attract good fortune, or seal the harmony of a couple—a gesture to offer protection and bring happiness.
-Water plays an equally sacred role: bathing in rivers or walking through the morning dew is said to bring healing, vitality, and spiritual renewal.
-Young women weave flower crowns and place them on the water; the direction the crown takes symbolically reveals their romantic destiny. It is said that on this night, the boundary between the human world and the spirit realm grows thin, and both plants and water acquire magical powers.
